Coming in Fall 2024: Middle School Youth Ministry!

Calling all middle and high school students!

Looking for a place to get together and grow in faith with people your own age? Come check out our Youth Group! With weekly youth nights and a ton of special events, you'll have endless opportunities to encounter Jesus, deepen your faith, and form new friendships along the way.

Middle School Youth Group meets on Mondays and/or Tuesdays, and High School Youth Group meets on Wednesdays and/or Sundays. A typical youth night involves games and/or sports, prayer, a faith-related topic/discussion, and of course plenty of snacks! Youth nights are a great way to meet new people and learn more about living a Catholic life in a fun, safe space. For the youth ministry schedule, check out the Master Calendar.

In addition to our weekly youth nights, we often have special events. Some of our most popular events include: Movie Nights, Friday Frenzys, CYO Drama Club, Patriots/Super Bowl parties, Canobie Lake Park outings, Celtics games, beach day, bonfires, and paint nights.

We have a variety of service opportunities as well. Our youth host quarterly babysitting nights, assemble baby bottles for St. Gianna’s Place, volunteer for Mercy Works in April, throw a charitable car wash in the summer, deliver and serve a meal every month to families in transitional housing, and serve on week/weekend-long mission trips. Big or small, works of mercy have a positive impact on your life and the lives of those around you.

To learn more about Youth Ministry, email our Youth Minister to receive quarterly email updates, like our parish Facebook page, follow our Instagram page @youth.stmattsnh, and check the youth ministry calendar for upcoming events.

I pray that Christ will make his home in your hearts through faith. I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God’s people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ’s love.
— Ephesians 3:17-18
